Description
A look at one of the most scenic railroad lines in the United States, the line of Stevens Pass in western Washington State. This program covers the Burlington Northern Santa Fe's former Great Northern line from Gold Bar to Wenatchee. Enjoy watching the trains as they climb the 2.2% grade as it crosses rivers and streams and passes lofty peaks and passes through several tunnels including the 8-mile long Cascade Tunnel.
We've taken the time to get great railroading action at several remote and scenic locations so you don't have to!
Along the way, we'll stop and visit several relics from the days when the Great Northern ran the railroad! Approx. 60 minutes, narrated with music, color.
